Basically, you choose rif_aug.vtf with "Select file" in the program. Then you type "awp" in the "replaces" box and choose the one that say:
models\weapons\v_models\v_rif_aug\rif_aug.vtf
Then you simply press install.
When installing w_awp.vtf, I recommend you type "w_snip" in the "replaces" box to find it faster. The one you should replace is obviously:
models\weapons\w_models\w_rif_aug\w_rif_aug.vtf

I think it is glossy because I can't legally import skins like this...I am trying to get them on the workshop so people can install them and they have Phong exponent settings...which also need to be edited

The Vertigo is a basic palette style custom paint job for Steyr AUG based on the map De_Vertigo. The design utilises a Black, Brown and White colour scheme with original seals and decals painted on. The project started in April, and with the help of Ziofayne, CyberUndead, FPSPug and Thurnip Oposto was completed mid way through September. Originally, the design used a Desert Storm-like style base with the seal planted on the Magazine, but over time, the design slowly shifted into a custom fitted style. The seal itself went through 51 alterations and the finished skin went through 12 full designs.

The Indonesian Favourite Culture Pattern with a specific pattern of Indonesian batik is already global. I used the motif I was looking on google and combine it with a weapon AUG and the results were good in my opinion. If you like it, I hope you guys can vote for this skin on my steamworkshop. thank you!

Instalation:
1st - copy MATERIALS folder to your CSGO folder.
2nd - open your pak01_dir with notepad ++
3rd - find THOSE line and change:
models\weapons\v_models\rif_ak47\ak47
change to
models\weapons\v_models\rif_ak47\ak48
&
models\weapons\w_models\w_rif_ak47\ak47
change to
models\weapons\w_models\w_rif_ak47\ak48
4th - SAVE IT AND HAVE FUN

I was working on this since the beta, I hated how the default textures on the AK47 looked. Added a new darker metal frame with more dust, scratches, and dirt effects. New realistic wood grips and stock, in the shade and indoors it gives the wood a darker feel then in sunlight it brightens up a little more
. New tactical AK47 magazine texture to give it a more modern look.

Now when i finally got GO i had to make a skin ofc. ;)
So i decided to make a reskin / texture to the AK.
Now it got:
New wood texture.
Wood is now light.
New metal texture.
Metal is now light and clean.
More information can be found in my license, such as my steam page.
Hope you guys will like, so leave a comment of your thoughts and if you got an idea of some improvements and such like that.
And sorry about the ingame pictures, i haven't found out how to disable the HUD yet
so please leave a comment if you know how.

This is my first submission in years. I've been going in the name of "ELITE SOLDIER" anyway, this is just a simple Color Correction for the default texture that seemed a bit unrealistic (specially the wood reddish color and plastic feel).
What I did is darkened both the whole metal and wood textures and corrected the wood color. I also added some simple wood overlays to sharpen it a bit. Check the installation instructions here and in the archive. Enjoy!

1) unarchive the materials & models folders into steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/csgo/
2) BACK UP PAK01_DIR.VPK IN CASE YOU SCREW SOMETHING UP!
3) open up pak01_dir.vpk in Notepad++ or some other proper editor (Regular notepad will probably break your pak01_dir.vpk, so don't use that)
4) rename $baseTexture "models\weapons\vmodels\rifak47\ak47" with $baseTexture "models\weapons\vmodels\rif_ak47\ak472"
5) Go in game and enjoy!

Finally done with this, I think it came out pretty good. Sure this model doesn't have the safety lever to actually function that way during the draw but its not noticeable in real time and I think looks good. The reload is inspired the Black Ops 2 AN-94 reload animations. Because I don't know how to make a custom script to do so, you will need to manually change the names of the sounds in pak01_dir if you want to use the custom sounds.

Not that that thing is out, finally.. Been having problem with my own rig..

Tactical AK-47 loosely based on the one from Modern Warfare 3. Spliced together from the CS:GO M4a4 and AK-47
I remade it since the old one wasn't that great. This one has better smoothing and textures.
Download CS:GO Skin Installation Tool, and check the AK-47 skin V and W models and install.
Copy paste the files to /steamapps/common/Counter-Strike Global Offensive/csgo/
Done.
